Dedicated to the protection of the Eastern Lowland Gorilla, these rangers are the frontline of conservation in Kahuzi-Biega — armed with knowledge and machetes to carve paths through primary rainforest, ensuring both the gorillas' safety and their habitat's survival.

  • Dignity and local leadership at the centre of every programme
  • Evidence-based approaches with robust monitoring & evaluation
  • Partnerships across diaspora, NGOs, academia and government
